Magnesium and Ferrocerium Fire Starter

Description Dual-function fire starter, featuring a magnesium rod with a built-in ferrocerium rod element. A concentrated shower of sparks can be produced by scraping along the ferrocerium rod with a steel edge, or the back of a knife. The magnesium can be scraped into a small pile of shavings for an additional high-temperature ignition option. Rod: 85mm length x 8mm diameter. Split ring: 25mm diameter. Weight: 12g.
