Shop Staff Notes: This Amplitude Smooth Trout Standard Line is one of those lines you don’t have to think about too much -either when your selecting a line to buy, or wondering how it will perform on your rod – it just works super well!  As the name implies, it’s a standard head weight for the line designation.  As you may know us here at CCFS we are fans up going up one line size on many modern rods so if you want a little bit more load with yours or you often fish or pick up line closer in, than simply get 1 line size above your rod designation. The front taper on the Trout Standard is excellent for fishing dries here on the MO were a little breeze is something we battle daily. Its longer head and 10′ rear taper make for easy and effective mending. It has more turnover power than the SA Trout taper but a little less than the Infinity or MPX taper.
