A new tool to add to my cave woman cooking arsenal! LOL! So now I need to decide if I’m making a tripod pole to hang it from or a bat with 4 legs, Leaning toward the wider pole with 4 legs setup so I can hang more than just this on it, and since I’ll be using it here at home I don’t need to worry about the weight, moving it…I’ll get some good metal pipe at one of the big box home stores and just use pipe connections to make it and paint it black. That way I’ll know it’s sturdy and can handle the weight of my cast iron cookware.I like the raised edge around this to keep meat from sliding off when you go to turn it. This seems nice and sturdy. I do wish it was bigger, but I have another stainless steel cooking grate I can set up with chains too from an old firepit, funny the grate outlasted the firepit LOL.This is lightweight and versatile enough to pack for camping/RV’ing too. If you have limited space or live in an apartment/balcony use… you could use a raised self contained firepit and hang this over it to use with charcoal.This is also a great way to make sure you have a backup way to cook for when the power goes out.Regular price $ 46.99 per the listing which I find too high a pricepoint, but there’s a 30% off coupon which I think makes it a good buy.
