A Vintage Sterling Silver Ring set with Large Moonstone Cabochon

A striking vintage Sterling Silver ring set with a large elongated Shield-shaped Moonstone cabochon in a secure full Bezel setting. The Moonstone displays a beautiful translucent body with a soft pale blue sheen that moves in the light. The surround is richly detailed with a continuous raised triangular edge and a finely twisted rope border framing the stone, creating depth and visual interest. The band is solid and finely domed, completing an exceptional and well-balanced design. Clearly hallmarked 925 to the rear, confirming Sterling Silver to British Standards. All in excellent condition, with no damage or losses. The silver has developed a soft, natural age patina consistent with pieces of this period.
