A spectacular Art Deco Bakelite Necklace composed of deep red amber-toned beads, each finely facetted and shaped in a tapering oval cut. The warm translucent colour and strong geometric form capture the bold decorative character of the Art Deco period, creating a striking and highly collectible piece of early twentieth-century jewellery. The necklace is fitted with its original Bakelite decorative barrel clasp, which remains in perfect working order. The beads graduate beautifully in size, producing an elegant taper along the neckline while allowing the necklace to drape naturally when worn.
